Simon has passed his Senior Management and Supervision exam
Simon Wateridge is one of our experienced financial planners, who specialises in retirement and later-life advice.
We’re extremely proud to announce that Simon has passed the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) AF6 – Senior Management and Supervision (AF6) exam.
This prestigious qualification develops candidates’ ability to apply and evaluate supervision principles and practices within a retail financial services business.
Simon’s success in this exam reinforces his capability to effectively manage and supervise client relationships while ensuring compliance and high operational standards across the business.
He is also aiming to achieve Chartered status later this year – we’ll keep you updated on Simon’s progress as he works towards this impressive career milestone.

Shelly and Sophie have passed the Retirement Income Planning qualification
Shelly Smith, our paraplanning manager, and Sophie Tinney, our newest qualified financial planner, have successfully passed the CII’s Retirement Income Planning (AF8) exam.
This qualification requires candidates to demonstrate advanced skills in advising on income planning to those in and approaching retirement.
Shelly’s achievement strengthens her technical expertise, enabling her to provide even more comprehensive support to our financial planners. This in turn ensures we deliver thorough retirement planning strategies for our clients.
Similarly, Sophie’s exam success marks another significant step in her career. This qualification enhances her ability to offer expert, tailored financial advice to our clients as she builds her experience in the field.
Like Simon, Sophie is also working towards Chartered status, and we look forward to updating you on her progress throughout the year.

Robert has passed the Financial Services, Regulations and Ethics exam
Robert, a trainee paraplanner, has passed R01, an essential CII exam focused on financial services, regulation and compliance.
