In this month’s team update, we’re particularly delighted to let you know about some prestigious recognition we’ve received.

Intelligent Pensions was given a Highly Commended achievement for Client Trust at the VouchedFor Client Experience Awards.

This is entirely based on genuine client feedback, so we’d like to say thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to leave their thoughts or a recommendation for us.

The awards recognise excellence across financial advice, mortgage advice, and protection, highlighting firms and advisers who consistently deliver high-quality outcomes and service for their clients.

We take great pride in offering a consistent and high-quality service to all our clients, and it really is gratifying to know that this translates into a positive experience you’ve been happy to share.

We recently held a meeting in Glasgow to discuss upcoming priorities and how to best support our clients

In early May, our team came together in Glasgow for two days of collaboration and strategic planning. This was a good chance for us to discuss our latest priorities, including the migration of James Hay accounts to the Nucleus platform, which took place in February.

Unfortunately, this led to disruption for some clients and across our internal teams. One key focus of our team meeting was to review these issues and discuss how we can continue to support anyone affected, while progressing outstanding matters with providers.

We also reviewed the upcoming changes to Inheritance Tax (IHT) and pensions, helping to make sure the team remains informed and well prepared to guide you through future developments.

The sessions included both internal discussions and external updates, as well as a workshop on estate planning and the use of bonds and trusts. These sessions helped strengthen collaboration across the business, while continuing to build out knowledge and expertise in key focus areas.
