Jackie MacDougall has joined us as a qualified ACCA accountant

Jackie is a qualified ACCA accountant with extensive experience in a wide range of finance roles at prestigious organisations such as Ernst & Young, Anderson Strathern and Lloyds Bank.

ACCA accountants are globally recognised professionals who offer the highest standards of financial expertise and ethical practice.

As such, Jackie’s appointment supports and strengthens Intelligent Pensions’ ongoing commitment to excellence.

Jackie’s role at Intelligent Pensions

As our company accountant, Jackie will be responsible for the financial health of the firm. This includes:

  • Recording financial transactions
  • Preparing management accounts and financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
  • Analysing financial data to help the board monitor performance and aid decision-making.

Jackie’s role is integral to the smooth running of the business, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the team.

Get to know Jackie

Jackie is passionate about her career and is excited about starting her new journey with Intelligent Pensions.

“I’m thrilled to be part of the team at head office. Everyone has been really welcoming, and I can’t wait to dive into my new role.”

However, it’s not all work and no play.

Outside the office, Jackie enjoys a busy and active life in Fife. She loves being in the great outdoors, especially walking her beloved dog, Archie, along the beach.

Jackie also belongs to her local running club, the Kirkcaldy Wizards – “It’s a fantastic community and a great way to socialise while keeping fit.”

When she’s not walking or running, Jackie likes to spend time with her children. As a devoted Hearts fan, she can often be found at the football with her son. She’s also partial to a spot of bargain hunting at local charity shops with her daughter.
